More Cozumel Just When You Need It.
The Park Royal Cozumel is an oasis in the Caribbean sun and the island's leading All Inclusive. With world-class accommodations, unending comfort and everything within reach, Park Royal sets the bar high. A thoughtful and secluded beach club is reachable through a private underpass from the main garden, and vacations thrive in the two whirlpools, two infinity pools and two partying deck lounges. With onsite fine dining and nightly entertainment, an inspired kids' club, a fitness center, spa and every sport imaginable just off the deck, there's nothing to stop your imagination from sailing.
Two stunning towers house 348 rooms and each boasts a private balcony, most with excellent views of the Caribbean - not even to mention the cruise ships that call, (up to nine per day), from every corner of the world.
The All Inclusive that Just Won't Quit.
The Park Royal beachfront is nestled between two very classy deck and lounge areas and is accessible only through a walkway from the main hotel garden. With two infinity pools, two whirlpools and a stunning view of the sea, and the cruise ships, there is no better waterfront on the island. Unlimited meals, snacks and drinks at three restaurants, six cocktail bars and an outdoor snack service mean you never have to look far for a bite to eat.
An on-site spa and fitness center, dive shop and sports center mean your stay can be filled with activity, and the all inclusive package includes snorkeling for anyone hoping to spot the big one. With a happening lobby scene, a kids' swimming pool and activities club, plus activities on the dock, the beach and the pool, and nightly entertainment in the amphitheater, there is simply no more generously outfitted vacation spot on the island.
Kids have a blast, parents relax!
The Park Royal Kids' Club keeps tykes from 5-12 not only occupied, but ecstatic. With special swimming pool games, water slide races, a playground and even a mini theater, everything is supervised by staff, and they're never far away. The main Kids' Club is right off the deck of the main swimming pool.
Of course, there's plenty of fun for grown ups too. Snorkeling is included in the All Inclusive plan, and an incredible variety of activities, volleyball, stretching and aerobics on the beach. Feel like slowing down? Daily pool-side games with the DJ, music and nightly live entertainment in the amphitheater are enough to make your holiday the best one yet.

The Isle of Cozumel
One of the most beautiful and relaxing islands anywhere in the Caribbean, Cozumel is a favorite port of call for Cruise Ships from all over the region and a beach destination unlike anything in the world. A paradise for divers, snorkeling and sun enthusiasts, revelers and vacationers, there is simply nothing to compare with Cozumel in terms of value, available services and access from points all over the Americas. travelers, divers and biologists. Mangrove jungles cover most of the island's 185 square miles, and provide cover for hundreds of animal species. But with clear turquoise water, most of the fun happens off-shore. Kayaking, scuba diving and sailing not to mention submarine rides and glass bottom boats make for a sea-side vacation to remember.
Landside there is always terrific Mexican and Yucatan food. With more than 300 restaurants, and no sales tax, Cozumel shopping is as fun as the dining is delicious. Local crafts markets brush up against some first rate retailers, a few higher-end shopping malls and some truly exciting night life.
Eating in Cozumel
Yucatan cuisine has exploded onto the international scene with delicate, complicated flavors surrounding Cochinita Pibil, a marinated pork stew, Papadzules tortillas stuffed with hard-boiled eggs and topped with an amazing pumpkin seed sauce, and chilmole, turkey served with an inky black mole. There isn't room here to even start talking about seafood.
The public market in San Miguel offers literally dozens of low-cost Mexican style eateries that are almost guaranteed to knock your socks off. But if you prefer the more familiar international style restaurants, cafes and blockbuster tourist attractions, the Cozumel waterfront boasts better than a fair share of the best.
Cozumel Shopping Secrets
Coral Jewelry
A specialty of Cozumel, coral of all shapes and sizes makes a great keepsake. Black Coral is well known as being one of the few varieties almost exclusively found in the waters around the island, but as some plastic imitations have crept onto the market, it is best to buy with a certificate of authenticity.
The Guayabera
The legendary Yucateco men's casual shirt, the Guayabera is designed for older gentleman in just about every color, finish and texture. Beautifully embroidered, tailored and always classy, they're available in truly fine linen or cotton, and make a distinguished statement, days and evenings on the island, and back home.
Hammocks
The best hammocks made of cotton and with a fine mesh are found in crafts stores and small hole-in-the-wall hammock shops in the shopping district.
Linen and Lace
Beautiful household linens travel exceptionally well. They're also beautiful, unique and seemingly priceless, though, often enough, they're remarkably affordable. The island is home to dozens of craftspeople producing lacework, tablecloths, fine napkins, pillow covers, and some truly heartwarming surprises.
Xtabentun
Originally a ceremonial liquor of the Mayans, Xtabentun is named for the flowers from which honey bees gather nectar. This particular honey, mixed with anise, is fermented and, often supplemented with a bit of rum, makes a distinctive, flavorful and much more user-friendly modern version of the age-old Mayan toast.
San Miguel de Cozumel
Archeological Sites & Pyramids
Though not as majestic as many of the larger and more extensive sites on the mainland, the ancient ruins at San Gervasio in the island's very center, and those at El Cedral offer visitors a welcome and contemplative break and a view into the island's storied past. They're also a lot closer and less crowded than places on the mainland making Cozumel's ruins a welcome retreat from the shore and the crowds.
